PIMIENTO CHEESE SPREAD

Description

Stir together all ingredients; cover and chill at least 2 hours. Serve spread with crackers, or sliced fruit.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 4-oz. jar diced pimiento
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

Directions

Stir together first 4 ingredients. Shape into an oval; chill 2 hours. Arrange pecan halves over cheese oval in overlapping rows beginning at the bottom and working upward. Arrange rosemary sprigs at the top of pinecone. Serve with crackers. Serves: 16.
