Ingredients
- ½ cup dark Karo syrup
- ½ cup light Karo syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla or bourbon
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch crust
- Optional: 1/4 cup flake coconut
Directions
Stir together the Karo syrups, eggs, and sugar. Add butter, vanilla, (optional coconut) and pecans; stir. Pour into pie crust. Cover crust edges with aluminum foil or pie crust shield. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
