TPGA Pecan Pairing Program

We know how hard it is to grow pecans, and with all the variations in Texas management, it can be helpful to have another grower to rely on. This program offers you the chance to be paired with someone from your region. Participants will meet up near the registration desk on Sunday at 4 p.m. before the Grand Opening Reception. TPGA staff will email you before the event with more details. If you’re interested in connecting with another grower in your region, check this box!

Pecan Candy Contest

Yes, I want to participate: As part of our conference, TPGA is hosting a Pecan Candy Contest during the Grand Opening Reception on Sunday, July 14. All attendees are invited to participate. If you want to enter a recipe into the contest, please check the box and fill in the names of the recipe and baker on the lines below. The winner will be featured in the TPGA recipe brochure and Pecan South. Desserts must be in a disposable container and should be delivered to Registration by 4 p.m. on Sunday before the Grand Opening Reception.

PIECES OF PECAN 2024 TPGA has published a consumer special edition magazine to help spread the word about pecans. These magazines are available in bulk at cost for industry members to use in their businesses, consumer outreach, and more. Pieces of Pecan will be hand-delivered at Conference and come in bundles of 10. Minimum 10 magazines must be purchased to qualify for bulk pricing. $3 per magazine; $30 per bundle. # of magazines requested	$

RAFFLE TO SUPPORT TEXAS EXTENSION & PECAN RESEARCH All proceeds from the raffle will go to Texas Pecan Research and Extension. Some of the speakers at this conference directly benefit from this raffle. This year we have two grand prizes: 3-night stay at Story Book Cabins in Ruidoso, New Mexico, for up to 4 adults. Blackout dates and exclusions apply. Certificate expires one year from July 14, 2024. Winner will receive a printed certificate from Story Book; 17 HMR rifle, the perfect squirrel deterrent. Donated by Larry Don Womack and Jake Montz. The drawing will take place at the Grand Opening Reception on Sunday night. You do not need to be present to win. Ticket sales are limited to 300 tickets. $25 each. Buy four tickets, get the fifth free.	$
FRED R. BRISON SCHOLARSHIP FUND This mailing is the only time each year we mention the $1,000 Fred Brison scholarship presented annually by TPGA to a student in the Horticulture Department at Texas A&M University. If you are interested in contributing to our scholarship fund, please use this registration form to do so.	$
TEXAS A&M PECAN ENDOWMENT These contributions go towards the effort to create a pecan endowment at Texas A&M University, which will support pecan research and the Texas A&M pecan program.	$
SPONSOR THE TPGA CONFERENCE The Texas Pecan Growers Association opens up sponsorship opportunities to all conference attendees. Everyone can help make TPGA’s Conference & Trade Show successful. If you’re interested in sponsoring the conference, please write the amount you wish to contribute on the line to the right.	$
PECAN PAC To have a successful advocacy program, the pecan industry must have a political action committee. The Pecan PAC can accept contributions from individuals, partnerships, or LLCs. Contributions are limited to $5,000 per year. TPGA will send all contributions collected through this form to the PAC.	$

SILENT AUCTION

Funds generated from the silent auction go to Texas Pecan Extension and Research. Your contribution is for a good cause and can help promote your company or product. If you’d like to donate, please write a description of the item and give an estimated value. Items must be mailed to our office or delivered to the Registration at conference before Sunday night’s Grand Opening Reception.
