Description
Brenda Olcott-Reid and William Reid both earned B.S. degrees from Rutgers University and M.S. degrees from North Carolina State University, with research emphases in pomology. Brenda earned her Ph.D. from University of Arkansas, and William earned his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. Brenda has conducted research on peaches, apples, and strawberries, while William has investigated blueberries, pecans, and walnuts. Brenda previously taught a fruit production course and many other horticulture courses, and now owns and manages a retail fruit operation growing blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, peaches and apples. William, an associate professor with Kansas State University, directs the KSU Pecan Experiment Field.
