TPGA Lifetime Member and Texas Pecan Board Executive Director, Bob Whitney, was awarded the Texas Plant Protection Association (TPPA) 2020 Norman Borlaug Lifetime Achievement Award.
Whitney has done extensive work in the agriculture sector from serving as a county extension agent, a crop specialist, teaching agriculture in 26 countries, and serving as the Executive Director for the Texas Pecan Board to name a few of his accomplishments. Whitney’s dedication and passion for agriculture is deserving of this achievement.
