Texas Pecan Growers

The Texas Pecan Growers Association (TPGA) is a nonprofit, educational association, formed in 1921 and incorporated in 1967.

The TPGA Mission is: To assist Texas pecan growers in growing pecans profitably through education, research and promotion of consumption.

To help carry out this mission, TPGA publishes a monthly magazine, Pecan South, which is distributed by subscription nationally and to a number of foreign countries. Pecan South is included with membership in TPGA. TPGA also publishes The Pecan Newsletter each fall during the harvest season to keep growers updated on current market conditions. TPGA's Annual Conference and Trade Show takes place each July and offers an extensive educational program, oftentimes an orchard tour, and a pecan trade show featuring machinery and equipment vendors, irrigation companies, pecan nurseries, chemical distributors and much more.
